Back to Africa
I should have contacted you before, but the time has just passed by (as it usually does!) after our return to Norway. First of all: Asante sana! You and your staff made our stay in Tanzania just as great as we hoped it would be. During the safari trip we did not only have many unforgettable game drives, but also a lot of fun – James has probably told you. And speaking about James: I can’t imagine you can find a better guide. He knows so much about nature, culture, history etc., and he must have very special eyes: If there were a lion on the moon, he would have seen it! In addition to all his guide-skills, he also has a great sense of humour – a very appreciated quality amongst his Push 2 Reach-passengers. (“Brush your Teeth” was another one)
Regarding the Zanzibar-stay: Both Clove hotel (fantastic roof terrace) and Langi Langi (cool owner, friendly staff, good food) can be highly recommended – relaxed, unfrilled places with excellent settings. The two brothers (Hadji and ?) who took care of the transport, guiding etc. were most helpful and very nice.
Sitting here in grey November-Norway, it is difficult to understand that places like Maramboi tented camp, Ngorongoro and Nungwi really exist. And there are so many other places and more remote areas I would like to see — i.e. western or southern Tanzania, Uganda, Botswana. I don’t know when, but I do know that I must go back to Africa!
Kwa heri and best wishes from Anne and the rest of the Norwegians.
PS Please say hello to James from all of us – remind him of taking care to avoid getting malaria!
Anne, Norway
