The journey fully met our expectations! We saw a lot of wildlife, even a leopard in Ruaha. Everything was well organized. The guys were both good at what they did and pleasant company. Edwin’s English is perfect and he showed himself very knowledgeable about the wildlife. And I (Bart) enjoyed the birdwatching we did almost continuously the last 3 week very much! Although I must admit I didn’t reach the target you set for me of a 100 species. But I got pretty close: I’ve got 94 species on my list now.

John is a great cook. I still don’t understand how he manages to serve quiche and other dishes that are supposed to come out of an oven in the middle of the bush! And at the mount Hanang his physical fitness helped us to get up and down this damned steep mountain!
