The Circle of Life – February 2012

Serengeti in February and March - The Circle of Life

“Calving season in the Serengeti – The Circle of Life”

After the short rains of November and December, every new year kicks off with the spectacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration in full numbers in the now-green area of South-Serengeti and Ndutu. This is calving season, where up to 80% of female wildebeest give birth and predators are never far away.

Join this spectacle with a short and very affordable safari combining two days of exploration of that other gem, Tarangire National Park with three full days among the migration in the Serengeti and a full day of game-drives in the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater.

Using comfortable lodging in Tarangire and our special Mobile Fly-Camping setup at a private camp in Serengeti, you are as close to nature as you can possibly get.

The inclusion of a special (private) camp in the Serengeti means availability is limited but we have been able to secure a number of nights, allowing us to offer this special:

  1. From February 9th until 14th, 2012
  2. From February 12th until 17th, 2012
