  1. Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Meet and greet by your B2B driver guide and transfer to Karama lodge located just outside Arusha town. O/N Karama Lodge – B/B
  2. After breakfast drive the short distance to Arusha National Park where you head out on an easy walking safari with an armed ranger. Walk through open plains and the lower slopes of Mt Meru over to waterfalls. Get a different perspective of viewing wildlife from the ground level.There are also good chances of seeing black and white colobus monkey.
    Option 1: Afternoon canoeing safari of Little Momela lake – gives you a great opportunity to approach wildlife as they drink and wallow in the shallows.

    Continue with afternoon game drives before heading back to Karama lodge. O/N Karama Lodge – H/B

  3. Depart from Arusha in the morning and begin the drive through a changing landscape to Tarangire National Park for game drives of the ‘Elephant Playground’. Picnic lunch at the view point overlooking a section of the Tarangire river. Continue with game drives until late afternoon, then leave the park and head towards Maramboi Tented Camp located just outside the park. O/N Maramboi Tented Camp – F/B
  4. Dawn game drives of Tarangire NP – then leave the park in a game drive en route and head the short distance to Esilalei Maasai community. Meet with your local maasai guide who will introduce you to his village. Get a better understanding of the natural medicines still used on a daily basis with Maasai medicine walk of the surrounding area – continue down to a Boma (Mud dwelling) for an introduction into the Maasai way of life and beliefs and rituals. Return to the camp by foot.Enjoy a real cultural experience around the fire place. Traditional dance and song followed by a goat BBQ (catering for vegetarians as well).   5. After breakfast depart towards Lake Manyara National Park for game drives of this very diverse park. If you are lucky you may see the famous tree climbing lions. Picnic lunch in the bush followed by game drives till mid afternoon. Slowly make your way out of the park and begin the drive up to Karatu and continue to your camp location.   6. Morning wake up call with bird chorus. Head via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the endless plains of Serengeti. Game drive en route to central Serengeti – explore the many different areas of the park, your driver guide will advice the best places to visit. O/N Serengeti Special Camp – B2B Semi Lux Camp – F/B
  7. Option 2: Early morning head out for a Balloon Safari – view the Serengeti plains from a hot air balloon. Champagne breakfast on the landing site.

    Full day game drive in Serengeti NP. Head over to the Rock Kopjes, where you have good chances of seeing some of the cat families. Cheetah and lion use this giant rock out crops as observation posts. O/N Serengeti Special Camp – B2B Semi Lux Camp – F/B

  8. After breakfast game drives en route out of the Serengeti and head back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Stop at Olduvai gorge, the cradle of man kind. Informative talk about the early finding of hominid remains by the Leaky family – museum visit. Continue to the crater rim – stop at the view point before heading to Rhino lodge. O/N Rhino lodge – F/B
  9. Early morning descend in the crater for game drives. There are 25,000 large mammals residing in the park, elephants are mainly bulls, females stay out of the park due to the largest predator population in Africa. Black Rhino also make there home on the grassy plains, there numbers make up for almost half which can be found in East Africa about 20 in total. Mid afternoon begin the climb out of the crater and continue out to Karatu camp for relaxation and overnight. O/N Karatu Camp – Semi Lux camp – F/B
  10. After a leisurely breakfast at the camp – slowly begin the drive towards Arusha. Visit the lively town of Mto wa Mbu and wander through the local market before continuing to Arusha. Transfer to Kia Lodge for a day room and dinner – then continue to the airport for your international flight connection.
