Dive the exotic spice island of Pemba, in the beautiful Zanzibar archipelago. The best dive sites of East Africa are found around the island of Pemba, and they are easily accessed by liveaboard. The warm tropical seas, enriched with nutrients brought by the Indian Ocean currents, provide ideal conditions for an astonishing variety of marine life.

The abundance of marine plants and animals are a scuba divers dream. The waters around Pemba Island are spectacular, with visibility between 30-60 metres, and stunning blue-water drop-offs. A Birds-eye view of the endless plains of Serengeti National park

Balloon safaris are an optional extra in Serengeti National Park.You will be picked up from your lodge at 05.30 and head to the launching site. The flight is at dawn, sometimes just above the tree tops offering a unique photographic opportunity. The pilot will also climb up to 1000’ to give you an overview of the enormity of the panoramic Serengeti.Upon landing you will be served champagne and full English breakfast. A safari vehicle will collect you from launch site at 09.30 or from Serena lodge to continue with game activities as per your itinerary.

Gold in and around Arusha

There are two Golf courses in the Arusha district; one is in the center of town located behind the Novotel. It is possible to hire all equipment, caddies etc; dress codes are enforced so collared shirts and trousers are applicable. You can go it alone or we can arrange for you to enjoy the company of one of the affiliated members and enjoy a few stories as you make your way around the 9 holes of Gymkhana golf club.

Certainly a great way to spend a morning relaxing if you are on a business trip or a break after returning from safari or a Kilimanjaro climb; walk off the green and into the Novotel for mixed African buffet.

Ngurdoto course offers 18 holes and is located in the beautiful setting of the park boundaries of Arusha N.P – same dress code and conditions apply. Spend a few days enjoying the Ngurdoto Mountain lodges facilities, along with easy day visits to Arusha N.P. for wildlife game viewing and walking safaris.

Off-road Driving Instruction

For those who have never driven a 4 x 4 vehicle we can offer a two day introductory driving course with one of our own drivers to introduce you into the do’s and dont’s of driving in the African bush and approaching wildlife that can behave in a unpredictable manner. National Parks also impose rules to abide by for the safety of yourselves and not to disturb wildlife from their normal routine.

24 hour support

The condition of the roads into most popular National Parks have recently undergone upgrades and are in fairly good condition so with the exception of an area between the NCA and Serengeti, driving can be very pleasant and rewarding. However, anything in Tanzania can happen so if you do find yourself with problems, we provide a 24hr rescue service out of Arusha.
