Serengeti, Ruaha & Matemwe Zanzibar with FREE Domestic Flights

This amazing safari offers the best that Northern Tanzania has to offer and combining it with the unspolit wilderness of Ruaha National Park before relaxing on the exotic Zanzibar coast.

It all starts by being collected by your Bush 2 Beach driver guide at Kilimanjaro Airport and being transferred for 1 nights accommodation near Arusha to help you relax and recover from your flight. You will then enjoy a day in Tarangire national park before heading to the wonderful Isoitok Camp nestled in Maasai land. The following day you will have an authentic Maasai cultural experience by visiting the local village (Boma) and exploring the surround areas learning about plants used for traditional medicines. The afternoon is then spend exploring the bustling village of Mto wa Mbu, which is a mixing pot of many different cultures. Your Safari then continues to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, here you are hoping to see the Big 5. You then continue on for 2 nights in the Serengeti staying in the luxury of Asilia Dunia Camp. This is where the offer becomes very special, Asilia provides you with a COMPLIMENTARY DIRECT FLIGHT from the Serengeti to Ruaha National Park! You then spend 3 nights in this magical and unspolit wilderness taking park in game activities from the Asilia Camp. Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha Area

Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport where you will be collected and transfer to your Arusha accommodation

Day 2: Arusha Area to Tarangire National Park

Depart from Arusha in the morning and begin the drive through a changing landscape to Tarangire National Park for game drives of the ‘Elephant Playground’. Spend the day game driving in Tarangire with a packed lunch. Late afternoon depart from the park and head to your overnight accommodation near Lake Manyara.

Day 3: Maasai Cultural Experience and Mto wa Mbu Village Tour

Early morning meet with your local Maasai guide who will introduce you to his village. Get a better understanding of the natural medicines still used on a daily basis with a Maasai medicine walk of the surrounding area. Then continue down to a Boma (mud dwelling) for an introduction into the Maasai way of life, beliefs and rituals. Enjoy a hot lunch in camp before heading out for the village of Mto wa mbu for a village walking tour. You will return to camp early evening and head off on a short walk to the local view point to soak up the views over Maasai land and Lake Manyara while enjoying a cold drink and some snacks.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning depart from camp and head to Ngorongoro. Descend into the crater for game drives. There are 25,000 large mammals residing in the park. The elephants are mainly bulls, females stay out of the park due to it boasting the largest predator population in Africa. Black Rhino also make their home on the grassy plains, their numbers make up for almost half of what can still be found in East Africa; about 20 in total.

Day 5: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

Morning wake-up call with bird chorus. After breakfast you head via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the endless plains of Serengeti. Game drive en-route to central Serengeti – explore the many different areas of the park, your driver guide will advice on the best places to visit.

O/n Asilia - Dunia Camp (B, L, D)

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Optional: Early morning head out for a Balloon flight. View the Serengeti plains from a hot air balloon followed by champagne breakfast on the landing site. A full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. Head over to the Rock Kopjes where you have good chances of seeing some of the cat families. Cheetah and lion use this giant rock out crops as observation posts.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park to Ruaha National Park

Early morning game drive in Serengeti, then transfer to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Ruaha. On arrival to Ruaha you will be meet and transferred to your Asilia accommodation in time for lunch. Enjoy a hot lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive.

Day 8: Ruaha National Park

Ruaha national park is one of the few Tanzania’s famous wilderness area where one can have a rare experience of game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscape. The park boasts of her almost untouched and unexplored ecosystem, making visitors’ safari experience very unique.  Plan your game viewing activities together with the camp management as they will best advice you when and where to head out. You can choose between game drives and walking safaris– note that game viewing activities can be shared with other guests.
