Best time to visit

Year round for resident wildlife – for the great wildebeest migration mid October coming into Serengeti heading in a southern direction – November to January – Loliondo controlled area of Eastern Serengeti, slowly making its way in the Ngorongoro conservation area. April – May, calving season in and around Ndutu, continuing up into North West Serengeti through out June – August. (Approximate migratory pattern depending on rains and available grass lands).
