Famous for its flood plains and large herds of buffalo and hippo – Kutuma river, two seasonal lakes called Katavi and Chada, woodland, waterfalls of Chorangwa, Lukima and Ndido. This massive expanse of rugged wilderness attracts a whole host of wildlife. Elephant, lion, hyena, leopard, wild, giraffe, zebra, roan and sable antelope, wild dog, crocodile it’s also a birders paradise with over 400 species present.
