Lakeshore Lodge is located on the southern shores of Lake Tanganyika which is the world's longest and second deepest lake.

The lodge offers different types of accommodations, ranging from simple bandas to luxurious chalets.

Perfect for the traveler on a tighter budget. With unimpeded views onto Lake Tanganyika, the Bandas are designed for the more budget conscious traveler. These rooms are not ensuite. They have shared Zen-style bathrooms which are just behind the Bandas.

Just a few steps from Lake Tanganyika. This is barefoot luxury at its very best. The Maldives-style CHALETS are built into the waters of Lake Tanganyika. Sit outside with a cup of coffee and watch the fish of Lake Tanganyika swim around your room. The front doors open completely to give incredible views of the islands in front of the lodge. Each room has its own beach area and is ensuite with a shower, toilet, vanity and dressing area.
