In Loving Memory of Peter Silas Kime

We are deeply saddened to share that our dear colleague and friend, Peter Silas Kime, passed away on Sunday 13th of April 2025.

Over 20 years ago, Peter began his journey in the tourism industry as a camping safari chef in Tanzania’s national parks. He went on to become a trekking and hiking guide, and later fulfilled his dream of becoming a passionate driver guide after completing wildlife college.

Peter spoke fluent English and French and was proud to show guests the beauty of Tanzania—from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater and beyond. His favorite animals were the Elephant and the Greater Kudu, and he had a special love for birds, with the Narina Trogon being his favorite.

Peter will be remembered not only for his deep knowledge and passion for wildlife, but also for his vibrant personality. A true dandy, he loved to dress sharply and had a fondness for vintage bikes and cars. During the low season and his days off, he enjoyed farming and caring for his livestock. Most importantly, Peter was a devoted husband and a loving father to five children.

He will be greatly missed by the entire Bush2Beach family, his guests, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

May his soul rest in peace.
